When Stacey Roscoe was just a boy, he caught a glimpse of a 1958 Lincoln. The image stayed with him for a while, and decades later he was still determined to find a '58 model of his own. He finally found one and, even though it was in a rather dilapidated state, knew it was what he'd been looking for.
"It took Stacy about three years to collect all the necessary parts to bring the car back to life," reads the Lincoln Now article about the car. "This includes the Tri-Power carburetor—a setup that Lincoln produced only 100 of—which increased the engine rating from the standard 375 horsepower to 400. He found it on the Internet in its original 1958 packaging and, alone, it cost him more than the entire car. The piece was so beautiful and rare that Stacy lovingly refers to it as the crown jewel of the vehicle." Read more above.
