The Lincoln Navigator offers all of the entertainment options that kids love and the safety features that parents demand.
Drivers and passengers alike are protected thanks to dual-stage front-seat airbags, front-seat-mounted side airbags and side-curtain airbags. A rollover sensor initiates the side-curtain airbags in the event of certain side-impact accidents or a rollover, while the standard rearview camera activates when you shift into reverse and shows certain objects behind you and helps when connecting to a trailer. The video image that's shown on the navigation screen includes guidelines to show how close objects are.
The inventive MyKey® feature lets you control select features if you lend the vehicle to someone or if it's being driven by an inexperienced driver. Feel free to place limits on speed (up to 80mph) and audio volume (to 45 percent of maximum), and the features allows you to keep the audio system muted and the Belt Minder® warning chime activated until the safety belts in front are buckled.
The available dual-headrest DVD entertainment system includes two seven-inch LCD monitors built into the front-row head restraints. Because the monitors feature top-slot-loading players, infrared headphones and a remote, passengers in the rear seats can agree to watch the same video on both screens or choose to view a different one on each screen.
