    Reviews:
    * Roomy and high-quality interior; refined and efficient powertrains; quick acceleration; responsive handling; generous standard features; available coupe body style. Source: Edmunds
    * Simple operation, great reliability and high resale value are obvious attractors to the Accord. But you may be surprised at the extent of its lineup, which ranges from an economical sedan to a V6-powered coupe or a hybrid rated up to 50 mpg. It’s hard to go wrong in any of them. • Very Reliable Car

By Angie on 8/8/2026 12:22:02 AM

I bought my 2016 Honda Accord EX-L with sensing 4 cyclinder brand new. It has a lot of highway miles. It's almost to 190,000 miles as I am writing this and it's still going strong. I have kept up on the normal maintenance. Knocking on wood as I say this, but I have had almost no problems with this car. I had a problem with the back up camera, but the car was still under warranty and it was replaced for free. At around 130,000 my CVT transmission broke and I blame my local Honda dealership service for that. My husband asked if there was any maintenance for the CVT transmission and they told him no. Well we when he changed out the transmission low and behold it had a filter on it, so yes it does need maintenance too. This car has a feature I wish Honda continued to use and it's a camera on the passenger side. When you turn your right hand turn signal on the camera comes on showing the passenger side of the car so you can safely change lanes. This has been a great car for my family. It's comfortable to ride in even on long drives. It's also peppy for a 4 cylinder. It's great on gas mileage especially on long highway drives. The best I've ever gotten was 41.3 mpg and that happened once, but most of the time I averaged 35 to 38mpg on long drives on highways.…

    • Great car with lotsa ZIP

This was the first 6 cylinder I had ever owned and before having that power I never thought I would need it. This sedan had a ton of room for the driver and was the most comfortable car I have ever owned. I experienced no problems with this accord and surprisingly for a 6 cylinder it got great gas mileage as well. I never knew that owning a car with a little extra oomph would be so enjoyable. The only reason I sold it is because of the winters in central PA pretty much require an AWD vehicle. If I were to give any negative it would be that this Accord did not do well in the snow. Other than that I experienced zero downside or problems with my 2017 Honda Accord EX-L V6.…
