While the chassis may have been improved, GM's full-size SUVs, including Yukon Denali and Cadillac Escalade, continue to use a solid-axle rear suspension. This old technology simply cannot match the greater traction, enhanced ride quality and improved handling of the independent multilink rear suspension on Navigator.

It's true that the 6.2L engine in Yukon Denali delivers more horsepower than the 3.5L GTDI V6 in Navigator. However, it's Navigator that comes out on top when it comes to towing capacity. Its 9,000 lbs.⁽¹⁾ bests Denali by 900 lbs.
